Lets forget about the rest of the world for a moment and talk about the UK. Regarding Covid there was a cacophony of lies. A sustained cacophony of lies for the whole world to see, spread over several years. You can argue against that as much as you like, It's just I am sure you already know about them all already. Frankly I am puzzled why you would want to support any of them.
