This is a huge wedge to use against the US auto industry . Even if they just allow Canada to supply certain components like say the steel chassis or final assembly. Trump does not understand how integral vehicle production is now between Canada and,US and Mexico….parts and finishing cross the border multiple times and China also knows it needs a more reliable partner to feed its huge population.

There is a lot to this…..China plays chess while Trump plays his tantrum of the day.
