And when a random broker gets a call to buy SIMO, what do they say? In the early '90s, when the call centers were started, customers (at least our branch's) despised them and begged to be connected with the branch. Hopefully, it's gotten better since.

When you attempt to sell a credit spread all stocks seem to now have become hard to borrow in their disclosure statement. Unfortunately, Schwab has in the last few months basically turned into a PFOF house similar to Robinhood. They also wouldn't let me buy an OTC stock that showed arbitrage against the ASX equivalent that cost me 6K in profits. Lets say I am not at all happy with them.

You can't write covered calls on a stock that you have pledged for lending.

I don't participate in the program since I can generate far more that the 4-5% p.a. offered by writing OOM calls.
