Read Replies (5) | Respond to of 22546 5% yield, 5% DG past 3 years. From my portfolio, I have the following as "close, not quite": -VICI - 5.8% yield, 4%, 4.2%, 6.4%, this includes the 2025 increase, so they fall a little short on the dividend increases the last two years. -PRU - 5.2% yield, 4%, 4.2%, 4.3%, this also includes the 2025 increase, so they fall a little short on the dividend increases the last three years. -CVX - 4.5% yield, 4.9%, 7.9%, 6.3%, this also includes the 2025 increase, so they are practically there for dividend growth, but 4.5% yield. Very close tho. This is going to make me look at CVX as possible adds given oil softness and pending a valuation review. CVX is already my Top#6 position in value. -MAIN - 5.3% yield, 11.2%, 25.4%, 14.3%, So, they qualify BUT: 1) This includes special dividends. While I love these numbers because I have owned since 2017 so I actually received them, special dividends cant really be counted on going forward. There is caution for the future, especially since BDCs are going thru a rough patch. 2) This does NOT include the 2025 increase because although they have declared dividends thru Dec, there could be a chance announcement of another special. 3) MAIN is still overvalued IMO even after the slight pullback. MAIN is my Top#4 position in value so obviously I like it. I will search outside my portfolio in the next few days to see if I can find some 5% yielders with 5% increases past 3 years. I tried the Schwab screen this afternoon but it led me down some rabbit holes. Not sure I input correctly or the screener didnt work for me. I'd be interested if JRitz knows of an ETF that can satisfy the 5%, 5% desired outcome.
