Remember John,
Don't get greedy on trades. I speak from experience. Most of the time when I have a game plan, like you did, and I changed it mid-run, I lost. I've done that before when a stock runs past my original sell mark and I decide to "see where it goes". I've learned when I do that to back my self up with stops. I will change a plan if the indicators change. For instance, if I enter a stock long but then an indicator turns negative, I'll exit the position. Or, if I am long and an additional indicator turns positive, I might up my sell target.
Don't assume anything. Take it as it is. Many more stocks out there to trade.

Best of luck to you.
