Well, it could be considered to be the precursor to it. Aironet was the leader in 900MHz, and they were also one of the companies that developed the original WiFI standard. Symbol contributed the frequency hopping to WiFi from their product line. Great for warehousing and docks. I used to work for Telxon, who sold Aironet to Cisco soon after I started.

Remember Amy J from the INTC thread? I remember she was concerned about the radiation being given off by both her cell phone and her laptop. That was back in the early 2000's.

Yeah, I do. There was a lot of press on it at the time. Most of it was along the lines of the "measles-autism linkage". The research kept running into "there seems to be something here, but..." with the "but" being consistent reproducibility. Given the 2.4GHz band, it was at least plausible that it could be the case. But at many MAGAts fail to understand, "plausibility does not equal causation".
