Your article conflates “state capitalism” with communism, ignoring that China’s current model is not truly communist but a hybrid authoritarian capitalist system.

The TRUMP administration did encourage domestic semiconductor manufacturing (Intel, TSMC), but that’s industrial policy, not ideological collectivization.

No verified instances exist of TRUMP “demanding companies fire executives” for disloyalty in the manner of a state purge.

Military parades and patriotic displays are not equivalent to CCP-style control.

The author blurs distinctions between fascism, communism, socialism, and authoritarianism.

TRUMP’s model aligns more closely with populist nationalism than with collectivist communism.

Equating TRUMP’s economic nationalism (“America First”) with China’s state-directed capitalism misunderstands both, TRUMP’s focus was repatriating industry and deregulating, while China’s is maintaining Party control over private enterprise.
