I know a Canadian who runs a company in Egypt and married a British woman. When he needed knee replacement surgery, he could have gone anywhere in the world, yet he chose the United Kingdom, because the best surgeons were in London. The BBC has a long history of producing exceptional programming. Canada’s CBC, on the other hand, is abysmal,quite possibly the worst broadcaster on earth. I’ve never seen anything of poorer quality. I love where I live. But Canada doesn’t seem to realize how easy it has had it living next door to the greatest country on earth. We’ve grown lazy and complacent as a result.
