M2 near record highs but Fed now pulling funds. As long as money supply is high stocks/indexes stay up with normal correction. Plus, two more cuts coming in interest rates. Stocks...."watch the sky". Melt up continues.

What has spooked the market this week is indeed the renewal of a trade schism with China as well as Jamie Dimon's admission of a nasty loan default and that if you see one cockroaches, doubtless there are others.

I agree market valuations are too high and a concentration in certain specific stocks is also skewing the broad picture.
I also believe that the U.S. economy is slowing but I don't see an immediate crash catalyst. Perhaps my vision is clouded.

We have known for years that China does not act as a free market economy, often as an adversary, and we have known for years that the world is too dependent on them for far too many critical materials and done absolutely nothing about it. So we are in a wake up call and if we streamline the process of permitting new mines we can recapture much of our independence. Smelters , will be the bigger impediment to gaining self sufficiency. Whatever the case we need more minerals and the majors continue to deplete their reserves that must be replaced from discoveries by the Jr explore Cos. Seems it all adds up to years of increased activity in jr. mining, which is getting money freely now whereas for the past decade or more it only got money on disadvantageous terms,

If there is a big crash then the jrs will implode , at least temporarily
