Nasadq went up 1.6% today. It could be this or something else. What was the price before the stock split? Do you think GAC will go for another stock split soon so that little investors can jump in? How many outstanding shares currently?

$80.00/sh TARGET PRICE ..........

ARTICLE: From The Globe & Mail, Thursday, February 26th, 1998

GEAC COMPUTER CORP. LTD.
(GAC/TSE), up $3.25 to $57.50, on volume 0f 337,915 shares.

Anticipation of an acquisition, internal growth from new software,
improving margins and the expectation of strong third-quarter earnings
helped Geac shares to a 52-week closing high, said Josef Vejvoda of
Lowen, Ondaatje, McCutcheon Ltd.

"Management is firing on all cylinders, margins are at 43%, from 36%,
and new software sales growth has been 20% year over year in the past
two quarters," said Vejvoda.

Geac is expected to report its third quarter on March 10, traditionally
its strongest because of pre-paid maintenance contracts. Vejvoda has a
12-month target price of $80 on the stock.
