Yes I have already loaded up// unfortunately a good portion of my funds were into smaller cap stocks// so I waited until I finally grew disenchsnted with THOSE small caps<and micro-caps> and bought in to LUCENT at the 96 dollar level< the moment that news of the 2/1 split was announced> TOO BAD I waited as long as I did BUT if LUCENT can do what Microsoft has done <5 splits over the last 4 years>THEN everyone who is invested with LU will make some REAL serious profits regardless of where they buy in,just as long as they HOLD for at least 18 months. As for myself/ I DO NOT EVER intend to SELL my LU position. This is like MONEY in the bank,so to speak. Why draw from my LU holdings when the FUTURE for LUCENT and Telecommunications is on the verge of EXPLOSION of NEW technologies what with the soon to be introduction of INTERNET TELEPHONY<and rest assured that LUCENT will find a way to bring super voice quality to this field . As I speak there are at least a DOZEN companies which are START UPS whose Internet Tele.systems suffer from POOR Voice Quality. DOES anyone REALLY believe that National and International companies would be choosing THESE quality lacking systems when in a short period of time LUCENT would be rolling out their own quality system for internet telephony. WHEN AT+T comes to the plate in the mid-summer. LUCENT will be supplying them with the big bats<internet tele.system>
