Well, you just heard it from me. That AI statement is bollocks. Not only that, I told the story on the early internet as that is what indeed happened. There should be a record of it somewhere. It tells me you have to read the "AI" reports with a grain of salt. As CJ says "Garbage In = Garbage Out" Somebody has been filling the AI memory banks with garbage, and probably bias too. That is the conclusion to make here. /edit: ahhhh... government ban I said the Fabians... not the government.

Ever do a dive into "objectivism"? Ayn apparently had little or no knowledge of philosophy. Now I am not going to pretend that it is a field with a great deal of rigor, personalities are often as important, if not more than ideas, but she grounds little or none of her work in the millenia of thought and work that preceded her. As a result, it just isn't worth much unless you really like sociopaths and think they are the pinnacle of humanity. It appeals to adolescent males because it reflects their moral and ethical development. Like in her novels, her sex scenes is barely disguised rape, with the women usually justifying it because, you know, men. If you are strong and want something, it can be justified if you just take it if you can. No doubt Elon read all of her stuff. That part of him is slowly coming to the surface.
