Caixing Global per AI:

“The state backing of China Media Capital (CMC) provides Caixin Global with significant capital but also places it within the tightly controlled media ecosystem of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

This creates a tense and complex dynamic regarding its editorial stance and operations,
where the outlet navigates an ambiguous space between market-oriented, investigative journalism and political constraints.”

That’s OK, puts in same ecosphere as SCMP, owned by Jack Ma, who was brutally reminded of his obligations as a member of the CCP. This is fine as bias is obvious if subtle. One must pay close attention as Chinese journalism is not intended to simply inform.

The article is a bit off because it was actually America’s actions that took NVDA out of China.

China will eventually replace (via IP theft or organic work, likely both) NVDA’s products. But it will take time. In the meantime, NVDA and others in the same position will not be sitting on their hands. The Borst irony will also apply.
I made a mistake when I was talking about my first job after high school SI Message when I said '(with a welding area)' as that bay at the other end of the building was a machine shop and not a welding area. I think the mistake is within tolerance as I did mean it at the time, I realized the mistake later and am mentioning it now.
