The Founding Fathers absolutely restricted who could become a citizen.

The Naturalization Act of 1790, said citizenship was only for “free white persons” of good moral character.

Not everybody. Not even close. So sure, people came in, but that didn’t mean they belonged.

That’s the distinction you’re missing, immigration vs. naturalization.

Maybe read some history before throwing insults.
