This is why I think Bill Gates is brilliant. He discovered early that if you properly reward your employees, everyone wins. I have worked for many companies and have left them all because of the way they treated their employees. I got tired of the executives getting rich on our efforts and thinking that we are disposable. Since coming to Microsoft I am working much longer hours and am considerably more passionate about my job in large part due to the stock options. Microsoft has given me so much, now it is my turn to return the favor.
