I had my IRA with Fidelity a year ago, and I'm very glad I left to go to Waterhouse. I had been a Fidelity customer for ten years. They're good but slow to change and expense.

>>>I am thinking about moving my regular account over to Datek. I did notice that they charge $40 a year for an IRA.<<<

Waterhouse home page still says they plan to move up the Internet trading commission to $25, in which case the $40/per year will look paltry to me. Even the $4.02 difference per round turn will pay that $40 is you do 10 round turns in you IRA in a year.
