I think Ipana was first, but the fluoride controversy was raging and Ipana got beat. Hamm's Beer was a whole gaggle of animals, led by, I think, a bear. The Crest motto was, originally, "Look, Mom, no cavities" but they had to change it later to "no NEW cavities" to let the Great Unwashed in on the secret that even fluoride use was no guarantee that your teeth wouldn't rot.

Sorry, we don't have a toaster oven. Well, we do, but we had to borrow it from FBN. They made us promise to have it back and clean by Monday. How about a nice pencil?
