GW, the main advantage of the smart card, IMHO, is speed of transactions. No need to make change or authorize, and with the new "contactless smart card" no need to even stop your car! These conveniences are important considerations.

However lets not get hung up on the smart card. The real story: a bandwidth revolution is on the horizon and security systems will need to be developed to keep up. Plenty of room for growth. Only downside I see is that ALDNF market cap is too low, keeps us off the institutional radar.

RNBO is in the toilet too. What are people thinking?

Regards,
Greg

If you loose the card you loose the e-cash.
Here, amount on SC is limited to a small amount : USD 140.
I usually load it once every 2 months.
There's no code protection for the smart card use.
Code is used to load cash onto the card.
Transactions are totally anonymous.

No matter what you think, I like to use it. It saves time, besides I never carry change nor bills, I thus find it useful.

Will respond more on it later.
