I spoke with support yesterday at Calamos regarding CPST and asked him if I buy the ETF 10/21/2025 how much would the S&P % be in order for me to get the 4.68% rate.
He said that's a great question, spent ten minutes talking with his team, and said he would have to transfer me to buffered specialist.
Transferred to another team, same question, and transferred to manager. He understood my question, gave me a detailed complicated answer about options bla bla bla and lost me after 30 seconds. Bottom line was just add about half a percent to the 4.68% rate, and that's how much the S&P has to increase for the year.

Hope that helps---
