You really stand out from the others I have on ignore on this board (though strangely, they seem to keep on posting in my direction. In the 70s and 80s when I got my first two degrees, even though I was probably more to the left than I am now, I had many conservative friends, maybe even more at times than lefties. What was different then was that we were able to get along fine, unlike the current approach which is to demonize anyone you disagree with, so we could have protracted discussions and debates and remain friends even when we continued to disagree. That's where you stand out here. We can have that kind of debate without descending to that level. I appreciate it. I will not continue our debate at this point, mostly because I am too busy, but I really appreciate your civility. LC

Taken to the nth degree by the man made global warming crowd, their population getting smaller by the day. Sure 100 % of scientists agree, a kid throws a rock in the ocean it will raise ocean levels so gov says we have to stop that, Obamas beachfront mansion will be swamped, it's obvious the science is settled. The average normal folk will roll their eyes and say "c'mon are you serious man?" Wake up and get real you've been had.
