First time I remember something like this. However, with the possibility of more tariffs, I would still want some production in the US. I did not realize VW had only one supplier for their chips and w/ a disruption their production was halted.

Could be an opportunity for Qualcom to have multiple manufacturing facilities (both in and outside the US). They could use this as a selling point to auto manufactures and point out there would be no supply chain dissruptions when they enter into a longterm design/supply agreement.

I do not see this getting better but more defragmented based on tariffs/taxes and the different political bias.

I noticed that NFLX had to take a charge for a special Brazil tax in their earnings release.
