I've heard that the "CCP" is a misnomer because they are communist in name only - CINO. I bet they'd get along great with the Arctic Frosters - ruthless in quashing dissent. In the end, our Founders understood too well that power is a universally corrupting influence and they attempted to build a system that thwarted the corruption. The root of the corruption is the 7 deadly sins as a driver. Sans a systemic governor, the corruption will only grow and decay the system. The Chinese have adopted capitalism in their system but it does not play well with communism and the result is a government that demands conformity / compliance and a populace that longs for freedom.
