Yes, as a person, I hate many things that he does. But as a trader/portfolio manager, my job is to navigate the currents, not to fight them. And from that perspective, he is great. This reminds me of something that Stephen Colbert (Jay Leno?) once said about the elections when they asked him who he prefers as the next president. He said that if it's Hillary, then his jokes will seem sexist. And if it is Biden, then he is making fun of the Elderly. And if it is Obama, then he will seem racist. So as a comedian, he prefers it if Bush remains the president. It's the same with me. As a trader, I like what Trump is doing with the markets.
