Gregory:

The link will suggest that State Insurance Department would like to see stable and well managed Oxford.

Price is a function of positive and negative news. If you believe more bad news is coming then you should wait for $8 price. If you believe that positive news is forthcoming you should buy now. All known information (good or bad)is factored into the present price. This is what believers of weak form of efficient market hypothesis think.

Oxford is a special situation. Its a high risk and high reward investment. If everyone loves a stock then every Tom,Dick and Harry has bought the stock, there are no more buyers left. Any bad news in such a circumstance will magnify a downward move. Contrarians always take minority view. We need more hate on this thread for Oxford to go up! Yes, I agree that there are uncertainties but on balance,IMHO, more good news will be forthcoming than bad news.

You should not invest or disinvest based on what I say. You should visit Yahoo where a few industry experts are regularly posting. They are extremely negative on the prospects of Oxford. But then TPG hired a few industry experts in their dd process. The time will prove some experts wrong. Always remember good companies do not turns up to be good investments and bad companies do not turn up to be bad investments. Ask yourself, is this a good investment or a bad investment.

Good luck to you.
