I think it was Marie Kondo who said, "Get rid of everything that is not useful, joyful, or beautiful." It's very good advice. And the timeframe is 15 months. At every season, do a clean up and anything that has not given you joy or has not been used over the last 15 months should go away. Do that, you will live a happier and lighter life...and to boot, you won't need the Swedish ritual.
