No one is stopping you from writing a check and sending it in.

Your screwed in the head.

The 1% make a lot of investments in this country.

You people that want to take from the rich and give to the poor just need to get off your lazy asses and get a job.

If your making to much money, go give it away yourself.

If I want to make trillions of dollars, that is my right.

The government should not be deciding how much I'm allowed to keep.

I personally believe we should only have 1 tax, a citizenship tax where everyone pays for what is needed to run the government.

The only people that won't agree to that, is those that want to steal from the rich to give to the poor.

Heywood,
Even though it would affect me, too, we need to have a wealth tax.
Also known as a negative interest rate.

You would be disincentivized from maintaining your investment portfolio. You would start to sell off your investments and/or put them into tax shelters.

I never bought into Buffett's logic of "OMG tax me more," because he can always write a check to the IRS*.
