My point had nothing to do with what you took from it. My point was, many people think firefighters are super-human because they sacrifice for the common good and should be compensated as such, but when they are not the right kind of firefighters, they don't think so (you proved my point). The person who drives a Walmart delivery truck risks far more than the average firefighter does statistically, but people would never believe it.
