John Bell, the great Irish physicist at CERN, defined a series of experiments, later performed by Alain Aspect and his team, which demonstrate that quantum phenomena can be entangled at great distances and react a both ends instantaneously. The universe may be non local (there is a mind of God). So far, these entangled states do not permit superluminal communication by humans. --GG
