I don't think AI, in whatever form it takes, cares if you want to become a better version of yourself, or that it's going to waste resources providing you a full stomach while you do so.

Four years may be a little optimistic (?). It'll take a little longer before humans are reduced to hunter-gatherers, assuming there is anything left to hunt or gather.
