You found someone through Fox who reinforced your already preconceived notions planted by you cult leader.

That is called "confirmation bias".

Fox is a biased filter. That was proven in court. It fed into your bias. Which has been formed by Fox and its wannabes. So to no one's great surprise you went "Aha!".

Now, if you could point to a body of similarly credentialed sources and little in the way of opposition, then you would have a point. But you can't because they don't exist. You seem to be unable to deal with multiple, often conflicting sources. So you have a strong need to single-source your information. Despite the obvious flaws in that approach. In this case, that guy is nowhere near "the recognized expert" or even "a recognized expert". However expert he may be, being widely recognized is a different thing. You have a very bad habit of inflating the qualifications of those you agree with. It goes with the hero worship, I guess.
