Ten did you notice when I asked trumpers if their life had changed for the better under trump? how was their heating, aircon, electric bills, health insurance and grocery bills. not one answered, too busy owning the Libs i guess

Trump has a taste for what some have termed "Authoritarian Chic". Or sometime "Dictator Chic". Because all authoritarian regimes do stuff like that. With the gold, glitter and bombastic architecture, it is almost cookie cutter. Maybe there is some architect that specializes in this stuff. Like with Vegas, it usually leaves me cold. I will admit, I was awestruck when we hit the museums in what was East Berlin right after the fall. No gold filigree, but things like the Ishtar Gate is pure architectural porn. Almost a religious experience. So I am not immune to bombastic displays.
