Well it certainly sounds like what is needed, and everyone seems headed in that direction, AMD, Qualcomm and Huawei all recently. One assumes Broadcom, Marvel and MediaTek (or whoever else is doing the next TPU for Google) are all looking at similar approaches.

I just wish AMD would do it in the consumer space to. Its a Threadripper opportunity and I wish AMD would jump on it.
