Jan,

I'm confused, you said:

>>A stocks movement only has 25% to do with the stock itself. The other 85% has to do with sector risk.Strange, but true.<<

I think that extra 10% happens only on the west coast. El Nino, mudslides, brush fires, that kinda stuff. We max out at 100% around these parts.

Hi Jan,

I'm wondering about the sector charts and how best to use them. For example, on the DWA site, they list CCE & CRD.A as stocks to watch for a possible Buy signal. However both of these are in sectors that are Bear Confirmed. Many others to watch are in Bear Alert sectors. Are the sector ratings not to be taken too seriously?? Or should a trader look at them differently than an investor?

Also, how important are the RS charts? Is knowing the RS status just as good as seeing the chart? Is it possible for the chart to be in a column of X's but still on a sell signal? Or the opposite? Do we need a source of these charts? Over what period of time does DWA measure RS. And finally, how do YOU use RS info?

Eagerly awaiting the answers cause I've got lots more,

bobster

Good evening Jan. Would appreciate a P & F on CHSE. The stock looks undervalued at a 46% PE discount to its peer group. The earnings reported earlier this week was the sixth consecutive quarter of triple digit gains. TIA

Jan-

What do you make of the chart formation on CA which is obviously in the news a lot. If it breaks a bit lower it gives a double bottom sell. Last row of X's was pretty short as well. Is this as attractive now as it had been a week or so ago? Thanks

Craig
