Amazon set to announce widespread layoffs, reports say

Amazon on cutting spree under Jassy
Both outlets said the layoffs are part of Amazon CEO Andy Jassy's post-pandemic cost-cutting. He hinted in June that artificial intelligence could speed up the cuts.

"We will need fewer people doing some of the jobs that are being done today, and more people doing other types of jobs," Jassy wrote in a June memo to staff.

Fortune reported Oct. 14 that Amazon was preparing to cut up to 15% of its human resources employees, citing anonymous sources. The financial news outlet reported that the cuts were discussed outside of normal attrition processes.

You don't know what you're talking about. Amazon has been systematically laying off since 2022. Has nothing to do with Trump.

Do some research before spouting off ignorantly for a change.

Well heck. Just give us your opinion. Save the insults.

You remind me of a certain Klingon.
