From 1928 to 2015 Holding a 3x S&P out performs holding a none leveraged S&P using 1% mer in the research paper that won a dow award. The conventional thinking is not to hold leveraged funds for the long run lol. Compare the returns of tqqq to qqq and spy to upro since inception of the 3x etfs since inception they have out performed. Google Dow award leverage for the long run for a better understanding regarding 3x ETFs.
