It looks like 34% is renewables, with solar being 2/3rds of that or so. The rest, well it isn't nuclear, tidal or hydro, not to put too fine of a point on it.

Curious how does Hawaii generate its electric power?
Last time I was in Oahu, I remember seeing a coal power plant operating off of the western coast. That was a curious sight, given how liberal Hawai'i is. I figured that plant should have been shut down and decommissioned by now.
