BREAKING: OOF! Trump gets HUMILIATED in front of the whole world in meeting with China’s leader Xi Jinping as he FACT-CHECKS him to his face! Safe to say that Trump’s big trip to Asia to try to resolve the trade war that he himself started with China is NOT going well. At the opening ceremony, Trump walks up to Xi Jinping and nervously begins rambling, the way that he always does, saying “We're going to have a very successful meeting, I have no doubt. But he's a very tough negotiator. That's not good. We know each other well. We'll have a great understanding. We have a great relationship. We've always had a great relationship!" President Xi stays silent and just looks away. You don’t need to be a behavioral psychologist to read between THOSE lines! Then, during the discussions, Trump was bragging about having personally solved the conflict between Cambodia and Thailand — which is right in China’s backyard — and Xi Jinping was quick to correct the record to his face. "During your visit to Malaysia, you witnessed the signing of the Joint Declaration on Peace along the Cambodia-Thailand border, and you provided your support…China has assisted Cambodia and Thailand in our own way to resolve the border dispute, and we continue to promote peace talks to address other pressing issues in the region," said Xi. While Trump is incapable of understanding such subtleties, we are not. Trump was further humiliated by being forced to make concessions to Xi, promising to cut back 10% of his tariffs on China in exchange for promises to crack down on fentanyl production…and Trump admitted that he never brought up the thorny issue of Taiwan, saying it “never came up” when asked by the media. The fact that Trump had to fly to China to meet with Xi at all is a clear sign that he has been beaten by China in the trade war that, again, HE STARTED, at every turn. America’s soybean farmers are struggling. American consumers are facing sky-high prices. Trump is reportedly floating the idea of selling Nvidia’s most powerful chips to China in exchange for relief on soybeans, which would give them the tools to jump ahead in the AI race. Truly, everything Trump has done is making China Great again!
