The car radio market is either NPR or AM talk (99% rightwing). There's some music, but most younger folks bring their own rather than listen to whatever the station wants to program. The balloon was a non-story. Biden could either have made a forceful statement about it, or sent up a jet to put exactly one bullet into it to start a slow leak. As I recall he did neither. Over Montana, or wherever, the chances of any damage from a balloon drifting down were infinitesimal, but the Biden admin let the opposition own the narrative.
