Heywood, Trump doesn't know WTF he is doing. He is trying to micromanage the entire U.S. economy "from the gut." He pulls on some lever, sees what happens, then pushes on another lever, then sees what happens, then turns a knob, flips a switch, sees what happens, etc. He has absolutely no strategy. He is completely and 100% reactionary. I don't buy the notion that Trump is "transactional," because even transactional leaders know what the consequences of their actions are. A big example is that video of Reagan that appeared in the Canadian ad. Reagan knew what he was doing when he raised tariffs on Japan at the time. He spelled it out clearly, in plain English, to an American public. He raised tariffs against his overall free trade philosophy because he was being "transactional" with a purpose. Trump, on the other hand, is just freakin' erratic. And his dumbass supporters, who don't understand what Trump is doing, calls it "5-D chess." Tenchusatsu
