Yes, and as you know if Trump can kill those people in boats off of Venezuela, willy nilly, without a declaration of war, or due process, then the guard rails of our democracy have failed. Esoteric, but true. I always said that if your drill down to the bedrock of law, it is existential i.e. whatever people say it is. And what has happened, is that Trump discovered that weakness and has been using it all his life with his hundreds of law suits, always looking for the gray areas and exploiting it!
