Do you not understand that when Trump gave huge tax cuts to the rich, that reduces the tax income and balloons the deficit!!??

How fucking hard is that to understand-lol!!??

The last time Trump was president he added 8 trillion to the deficit in just four years, and he is slated to beat that this time.

How can you blame the dems when the pubs control both houses of congress and got exactly the Big Beautiful Bill they wanted?

The BBB cut taxes on the rich by trillions, and even with the tariff money the deficit is still 2% above last year because of all of Trump's spending.

What is the matter with you that you cannot understand that-lol??

you know Republicans control the presidency, the house, and the senate.It is NOT about control. It is about trying to install measures that will start a process of reducing deficit spending, and Democrats want nothing to do with it. So, your team has shut down government while Republicans are simply insisting on some fiscal sanity. Dems are plainly in the wrong here. We can't keep doing what you want. It is totally wrecked the future of the country.
