My expectation is that the $1.92 dividend will continue at that price as it has for so many years. Why do you expect that? Although STWD has paid well for many years, no one has been able to explain why. When office buildings all went empty during Covid, why they didn't have any problem? I got no idea, but it then leaves me saying I don't understand their business very well. Any lender consistantly paying 10% to shareholders after they've paid themselves whatever they require has got to be doing something out of the ordinary. PSEC pays 20%!
