BREAKING: Democrats call for FCC probe after 60 Minutes gets busted HEAVILY editing the Trump interview to hide damning statements about corruption!

Over the weekend, Trump sat down with correspondent Norah O’Donnell for 90 minutes, but only about 28 minutes were broadcast. A full transcript of the interview was later published, along with a 73-minute-long extended version online.

A great deal of the footage was cut, including a truly damning discussion of Trump’s crypto bribes from Binance founder Changpeng Zhao in exchange for a pardon.

Among the cut footages includes interviewer Norah O’Donell asking "So not concerned about the appearance of corruption with this?"

Stammering, Trump replies "I can't say, because — I can't say — I'm not concerned. I don't — I'd rather not have you ask the question."

Straight from the horses’ mouth! It’s particularly infuriating because Donald Trump sued CBS News for editing Kamala Harris’ interview, claiming they were creating fake news to help her in the election…and now the network is doing the same thing for him in order to cover up corruption.

Trump was fully aware of the hypocrisy, and even mocked 60 Minutes for it. “Actually, 60 Minutes paid me a lotta money. And you don’t have to put this on, because I don’t wanna embarrass you, and I’m sure you’re not,” Trump said. “But 60 Minutes was forced to pay me a lot of money because they took her answer out that was so bad, it was election-changing, two nights before the election. And they put a new answer in. And they paid me a lot of money for that. You can’t have fake news. You’ve gotta have legit news. And I think that it’s happening.”

Most of the other cut segments involved Trump once again pushing the fake narrative that the 2020 election was stolen from him, sanewashing his lunacy and trying to make him seem more presidential than he is.

One of the cut lines from Trump was "I don't want to start talking about elections. It's too early. One thing I can tell you, the 2020 election was rigged, and a lot of people say when it's rigged, you're allowed to do it again."

Other cut footage includes Trump heaping praise on CBS’ new billionaire owner, Larry Ellison, and new editor Bari Weiss, a right-wing propagandist and virulent racist. No wonder the network took so much effort to try to make Trump look better in his first sit-down interview in five years.

"Maybe I should file a complaint with the FCC against the Trump White House for editing his unhinged 60 Minutes interview," wrote Senate Minority leader Chuck Schumer on Twitter. Yeah, maybe you should!

Our media institutions are being corrupted by billionaires one by one, and it’s more important than ever that we support independent media and take everything the corporate media presents us with a grain of salt. They’ve made it clear that their right-wing ideological agenda takes priority over the truth.
