That is a great story, thank you for sharing.

There is no doubt that AI will change the world. In some of the US cities, we already have what they call Autonomous vehicles, serving as taxis. There is no doubt that in not too many years from now, we will see a variety of AI controlled robots and manufacturing equipment. Otherwise is simply no other way we could compete in the international markets.

My next door neighbor is involved in a project to develop automated reading programs for medical tests - he is a Cardiologist. There will be an enormous volume of AI applications in healthcare. Oh yeah - one more example - saw a video the other day - in one of the Chinese cities, they’ve built a passenger tram that rides on “virtual” rails. Instead of building rails, they… painted them directly on the pavement. The driverless tram follows those “rails” - and the system is in active service.

And, btw, they estimate that not having to build a rail system lowered the cost of the entire project by 60%.

This is amazing. The world is going to be fun.
