"I contribute what I can to charities of my choice. I should not be forced by government to "contribute" to other causes."

Here's some good news; the government can't force you to "contribute" to anybody except the IRS.

"That is confiscating money that I've worked hard to get control over."

They've "confiscated" my money for wars and for subsidies for a variety of industries. I actually never had control of that money, cuz they took it before I got paid.

It is not your place, as you are not rich, but it is the societies place, and you are part of the society.

The rich have not been paying their fair share fair for the last 60 years, and they have been making us, the middle class pay!

Because they have the power to effect that, something the MAGA workers cannot seem to understand.

Do you not understand money is power, and the rich have the power to not pay their fair of taxes.

Hell Trump didn't pay any taxes for years because he hird lawyers to not pay their taxes!!

"
Sure, I'm not sure how it became my place to pay for solving this problem.
