Little Engine, you are about to blow a rod!

The better the news, the more upset you get. If the audited numbers are as good as we think, you may as well commit yourself to the asylum.

Little Engine/Et al...

I just back with my date from dinner and we are heading out to a movie soon, but heard that there was news on FAMH so here I am...

The news is positive. I like it.

However, just to throw some caution to the wind.....

Not all share buybacks propel company shares to rise. Case in point is a stock I own called DCTC. About 3 weeks ago the CEO announced not only a 1 cent dividend (DCTC is a BB REPORTING stock), but also a buyback program consisting of "up to" 5 MILLION dollars of the company's money to do so. They even hired a Wall Street Brokerage to discreetly handle the buyback program. The SI thread went wild with euphoria (sp? Andrew?) over there that day. Unfortunately, since that announcement, the stock has retreated from $2.40 per share to $ 1.93 today at close, and needless to say the threadsters over at DCTC are now questioning that use of DCTC money!

So....it could backfire. Just wanted everybody be alittle cautious here.

I can cite (sp? Andrew?) other similar examples of BB stocks that announced buybacks that either didnt materialize or had no affect on share price.

Have some candy

Jane

PS....Not only that, but the press release indicated UP TO 4mm shares. ONLY 4 mm shares.
