Mohan, Sam;

I agree ...it was a very funny story, even more so because of a similar incident. In a hotel in Japan I found the toilet to be quite traditional. The flusher was a button on the wall. But there was an unusual control panel, at the right edge of the seat. When I noticed it I was standing, and had just knotted my tie. Leaning over for a closer look, I also had trouble understanding due to the indecipherable characters and I too had the same impulsive response as the diplomat in the story. When in doubt, just start pushing buttons, right? Long story short, not only had to change my tie but my shirt as well. That stream of water would have hit the ceiling easily but not for my interposing my stupid self. Ah well...live and learn.

Best,
Stitch
