Pocotrader, here we get discounts when they change from summer blend to winter blend gas, do you get the same thing in the States that have colder winters California also has different blends for summer vs. winter. However, our state laws mandate blends that are different from any other state, so we only have a very limited number of refineries that can serve our entire state. It would make too much sense for our oh-so-intelligent state legislators to rewrite those laws, stabilize our gas supply, and lower prices. But they don't want lower prices. Instead, they want all of us to drive EVs and take mass transit. If Trump were smart, he'd call out California for being this way, then demonstrate to us exactly what sensible energy policy looks like. But Trump is the very opposite of smart. Tenchusatsu
