Maverack, You may be on to something. The AMD problem you described is the correct one. That is the exact problem described to me by AMD last christmas. since then I have read every cockamemy explaination as to what amd problems is without anyone vagly mentioning what you ahve mentioned. so far no one has mentioned it you are the first. tommorrow I will try to verify your story if I do I wil post here after close of market. I'll aslo let you know if I load up on amd. I could roll out of microsoft, amat, Intel, csco, orcl and cpq all at profits but I want to be sure Intel is out performing amd right now!and microsoft is ut performing Intel. so you see my delima. inspite of amd news there has been no verifiable info to indicate increased volume production or volume shipments of the higher speed more profitable chips to support your info. but you are the first to accuratly discribe the mad problem whic is why you may have valid information.
