Heywood, that's the thing with MAGA authoritarians. It's not enough for them to simply Ignore you. If you think about it, a lot of the world's problems would be solved if we simply ignored people we didn't like. But with MAGA, they can't ignore the "woke." They can't ignore socialists from New York City. They can't ignore the day laborers loitering outside of a Home Depot, even though if you don't engage with them, they'll leave you alone. They can't ignore the environmentalists who drive around EVs, or the cross-dressers who are reading books to young kids at the library (no one is forcing them to take their kids there), or the automated message that says "Para Espanol, oprima numero dos." To them, ignoring those they don't like is the equivalent of surrender. And the smooth-brained mini-golfer doesn't want to look like a loser, ironically enough. Tenchusatsu
